FS-16 SAPP STICKS are a water soluble and condensate dispersible stick that contains a blend of our FS-16 BIT STICK surfactants with sodium acid pyrophosphate, and can be used in salt or fresh water applications.

The amount of FS-16 SAPP STICKS used per application will vary from one well to another. Water weight, mud weight, depth, and other variables come into play. Tests indicate that 1 to 2 1-¼” x 15” FS-16 SAPP STICKS per joint of drill stem added will be a good starting point. You can add or subtract the amount of sticks used once you have received your initial result so that you can receive the best benefit for your application.

Remember to drop the amount of sticks you have decided on each time an additional joint of drill pipe is added to the drill string. The components in the stick will dissolve as fluid moves down hole. Also remember to remove each stick from its cardboard tube prior to dropping.

FS-16 SAPP Sticks

The primary purpose of the FS-16 SAPP Sticks are to help thin mud and as a dispersant. They will also assist as a pH reducer, Calcium Inhibitor, Friction Reducer and will help reduce bit balling and in the prevention of Mud Rings. They will also increase the life of shaker screens.

Before using, the buyer shall determine the suitability of this product for his intended use and assumes all risk and liability for consequential or incidental damages. It is important to eliminate all risk associated with the use of this product. The manner of application of this product is beyond the control of Fisher Stevens or the seller of this product. The buyer should exercise extreme care in applying this product to the well.
All risks are assumed by the buyer, Fisher Stevens makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, including the fitness or merchantability for a particular purpose. In no case shall Fisher Stevens or the seller be liable for the use of this product. The foregoing is a condition of sale by Fisher Stevens and is accepted by the buyer.

Precautionary Statement: Keep away from heat and open flame. Do not breathe vapors or mist. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or clothing. Keep containers closed when not in use. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. See Material Safety Data Sheet for further information.

In Case of Fire: Use dry chemical, C02, water spray fog or alcohol foam. Closed containers may rupture or explode when heated. Keep cool with water spray.

Spills and Leaks: Scoop up and place into closed metal containers. Dispose of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Danger: After this container has been emptied do not re-use for any purpose until it has been cleaned thoroughly. All labeled precautions must be observed.

SAFETY AND HANDLING: DURING HANDLING OF THIS PRODUCT, WEAR EYE PROTECTION AND RUBBER GLOVES. IN CASE OF EYE OR SKIN CONTACT, RINSE WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF WATER FOR AT LEAST FIFTEEN MINUTES. IF EYE CONTACT SHOULD OCCUR OR IF SWALLOWED, CALL A PHYSICIAN.
